Yes, I’m sure it was the bean-mouths that caused Pony Life to fade from memory, and not the fact that it was clearly just a filler animated product/toy line that Hasbro put out to bridge the gap until G5 was ready (or at least closer to being ready), and everyone knew it (so they knew not to get invested in it).

Cartoons have gone downhill since they started using ‘bean-mouth’ style on their cartoon toons.

Yes, a few new cartoons with the ‘bean-mouth’ style might get lucky and fans will probably like them enough to buy them on DVD and Blu-rays later but for most of the ‘bean-mouth’ cartoons, they suck and will usually fail to make ratings or sales with their Blu-rays and DVDs. And they usually end up being forgotten by the viewers after their TV series is over which is why ‘Pony Life’ failed so miserably and nobody even remembers the series anymore.

This will ensure Ovaltine Opaline never gets that dragon fire.

You only have one shot Izzy. Better make sure it kills him. Better make sure you don’t miss.

Also, just want to say, “CalArts” is not a very good descriptor (it’s even dumber when used as a pejorative) as it was a term coined by an admitted groomer and sexual abuser to describe The Iron Giant (which, fun fact, one Lauren Faust worked prominently on). Not sure why it’s become shorthand for “bean mouth style” besides “the Internet is stupid sometimes”.
