Backstory

He did originally come from the Cloud family (yes the ungrateful one his brother was the scapegoat to). However, the way he was raised was an entirely different story. His cuteness even in foalhood was so intoxicating that the parents couldn’t help but give him their full attention, which unfortunately didn’t reflect so well on his older brother’s part of the deal. As soon as Brendan was born, the parents instantly changed the brother’s role from the purest joy to the meekly servant of the family. Luckily, he wasn’t even given the chance to harbor resentment on Brendan, as he was sweet and cuddly even back then. Brendan was practically the only pony in the house keeping him sane. However, everything changed suddenly one night. Bren had come home with a nasty bite on his ankle. Brendan felt bad for him as he was watching his parents be the absolute worst to him downgrading the importance of his injury. When Bren was alone, Brendan did his very best to fix up the bite and patch it up, also giving him the most love and cuddles he could give him. Late on that same night, there was loud noises coming from the kitchen, but he was too afraid to look as he hid himself in the bed sheets. The poor thing even squeaked in fright when he heard a menacing loud hiss coming his way. What finally got him out of bed was rustling in his brother’s bedroom. He peeked outside his window just in time to witness his brother, who was mysteriously turned into a savage creature of the night then, fly straight out the window with a stuffed backpack. He decided to leave early the very next morning to search for his dear beloved brother. During his travels, he wound up in a little town called Ponyville right when his funds were running a bit low. He took a job at Sugar Cube Corner and has been there ever since.
