I mean, anyone can compatible if the writer/artist tries hard enough (like I ship her with Soarin).

Anyone can be late. And we can’t discount OCs or characters Symbianl transfer up to their verse. You also seem to miss that Shy’s skin isn’t yellow, just the ears. The isn’t the EQ world.
Someone doesn’t need to be late for someone else to wait for them. And RD is far from the only person to ever be late at some point.
What implies that they’re fast or late?
At this point that ring has become almost as much of an interesting enigma as Sauron’s ONE RING.
