Tuff Puff walks onto a busy set getting jostled by the crew barking orders at each other. At the end of the large room is a kitchen set and her mother laughing jovially with her makeup artist.

Tuff (Approaches gently): Hi mom. I was texting you all day. Remember tonight I was gonna make you and Zephyr dinner?
Strawberry: (sighs deeply as her face scrunches into a frown)
Tuff: Are we…still on?
Strawberry (breathes in sharply) Cookie darling, while I LOvE that your “Friendship school” offers home economics I do not have time. Your father doesn’t normally have anything going for him, surely he can sit down for dinner. As long as he isn’t tied up!
Makeup Artist: Mrs. Strawberry, I overheard the director say she wants to start shooting.
Strawberry: Ah yes! Thank you Peahen, you dear.
Run along now, Cookie. We’ll talk later.

Tuff Puff hates her father Zephyr Breeze for being a lying and cheating jerk but her mother is no saint. Strawberry Sunrise is a chef and a host of a cooking show ironically called “Family Thyme”. The show is insanely popular across Equestria and preaches the importance of traditional family values. Strawberry prepares delicious dishes perfect for a cute happy family and even has 3 actors play her fake family on set.
She completely ignores her real family and rarely returns home. She makes a lot of promises to Tuff and Zephyr but rarely follows through and shares no remorse in how her actions might hurt her family. Sometimes she even guilts them into magazine photo shoots as a feeble effort to pander to her audience.

Tuff absolutely idolizes her mom and is often torn apart by Strawberry’s uncaring behaviour.
