Description

So uhhhhhhh who wants to talk about the new episode because !!!
For once I’m not projecting? Like, this was a very blatant metaphor for gender dysphoria?? I’m glad Terramar figured it out though!! Happy for our lil birb (who’s sometimes a fish)

That’s one of the great things about the episode, it can be used to talk to kids about a lot of things. Whether it be talking about parental separation, a mixed culture household, or questioning sexual and romantic orientation or gender identity. All those came to mind for me when watching the episode and I’m sure there’s others where it could be a springboard or reference point.

I always interpreted more as a race thing. As a black kid raised by white parents, the way he felt and voiced his concern about not feeling like he fits anywhere and cant pick, it almost exactly mirrored my experience.

Uh….as far as i remember, it was more about ‘divorce’ metaphor.
With Dad and Mom living seperatly and the child not knowing for whom to decide, when morale lesson is, it doesnt has to decide. Cus both of his parents still love him and will make room for him whenever he wants.
So…i think you are porjecting
But hey, to each their own interpretation
