I meant if they make it natural and don’t bring attention to the fact that liking someone of the same sex is “weird” (or do it for the sake of fanservice). I admit it’s a tricky thing to handle, but it’s possible. Eg; putting two characters together just because they happen to both be gay, without any hint of connection, is when I have a problem with it. (I have similar issues with male and female leads getting together in action movies for no other reason than both of them just being the main male and female leads.)
Shipping fanart doesn’t bother me, though. It’s only when it’s brought up in canon.
