I found a Starswirl cutie mark in the files, a sooo old sketch
There was a headcanon that a pony with strong magic (or a difficult fate is destined for them) has a cutie mark “growing” in patterns on the body
One day I saw the concept of a Twilight with such a pattern, and that’s it
Well, here’s what happened
Did you know that there was a pony with the same name in G2?
Combined the idea with a pattern, an old and canonical design
The cutie mark has 7 stars: in the center is “Starswirl”, and around the rest are the “pillars of Equestria” and “Stygian” (pony of Shadows), which united everyone together
