I remember drawing pictures of Starlight in Kidpix on the family computer using Windows3.1. I never watched the tvshow or owned any of the toys, but I did watch the crap out of the movie “Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer”. I was always impressed even when I was little by how well the horses were drawn in Rainbow Brite.
This wielder is more of a nod to my nostalgic side. I always loved Starlight because, well, one: he’s a horse and I was a my little pony girl, and two: he talks. More than talking, he’s like an adult in a world of kids. He’s also a bit of a dandy with a fun sort of faux-british accent. It makes him a fun and valuable addition to a cast the would otherwise consist of small children and walking kooshballs.
This pic was my attempt at making him hold a keyblade without putting it in his mouth. As a result, his leg is kinda broken, but I guess it’s good enough.
