This failed. It was a damn shame, too.

On our first episode, we were recording. We were reviewing some crappy design fails and making jokes about them when suddenly, my phone died. (Note to self: make sure your phone is fully charged before doing a podcast.) So we lost that part of our first episode. So then we tried again.

This time, while my phone was charging, we went for round two. We started recording again and were able to do a full episode. It went pretty well. We laughed a lot, made a lot of jokes, dropped an F bomb or two… All was well until AFTER I stopped recording. I went to upload the video on YouTube, and it seemed pretty normal to me. There was just one problem: the screen recorder didn’t record ANY of the audio! So then we called it a night and went to sleep.

Today, we decided to find ways to record our conversations on Discord. We installed the Craig bot that records Discord voice chats. Then I got a new screen recorder and, as you would expect, it didn’t let me record our conversations (but we were already using Craig so haha). We were doing well (besides me getting confused at the end of Part One of the episode) and then recorded Part Two of the episode. It went beautifully. That is, until I started doing the editing. I guess Craig got tired of recording, because he only recorded the first fifteen minutes of Bushy’s voice and the full 26 minutes of mine. So then we gave up the episode and then decided that we shouldn’t do a podcast until we knew what we were doing.

Just as they always say, “If at first you don’t succeed…”
