Guest Author’s Note: “I was unable to fit the subsequent lecture from Twilight about how the joke was fine, but only somewhat true as while algae such as Acetabularia are single celled (and so large as to make it an excellent model in the study of cell biology), the term algae covers a wide variety of organisms, many of which are multicellular and extremely complex, such as Macrocystis which is enormous and almost as complex as actual plant-life.
