Sketch mal hecho y referencia de mi nuevo OC, que no es Pony sino ave, inspirado muy obviamente por Celaeno. Nació a partir del concepto original que Celaeno iba a ser una cuervo (según se afirma en los conceptos de art of My little pony the movie). Aunque poco después decidí descartar la idea de dibujar a Celaeno cuervo, transformé a la criatura en grulla de cresta coronada y poco a poco nació el OC, una oficial naval encargada de poner a Celaeno tras las rejas (o mejor aún, hacer que la cuelguen por el delito de piratería)
Su nombre deviene de una de las Pléyades del mito griego (igual que Celaeno, quien también comparte nombre con una de las harpias y una estrella en la constelación de Tauro). El nombre “Gold beak” o “Pico de oro” es el mote que se le dio en altamar al haber perdido la punta de su pico en un duelo vs Celaeno, quien perdió la parte inferior de su pierna derecha.
El texto de la imagen se traduce :

English (Roughly Translated):
Aestérophe “Golden Peak”
Poorly done sketch and reference to my new OC, which is not Pony but bird, very obviously inspired by Celaeno. It was born from the original concept that Celaeno was going to be a raven (as stated in the concepts of art of My little pony the movie). Although shortly after I decided to discard the idea of drawing Celaeno a crow, I transformed the creature into a crowned crested crane and little by little the OC was born, a naval officer in charge of putting Celaeno behind bars (or better yet, having her hanged for the crime of piracy)
Its name comes from one of the Pleiades of Greek myth (like Celaeno, who also shares a name with one of the harpies and a star in the constellation of Taurus). The name “Gold beak” or “Pico de oro” is the nickname given to it at sea after having lost the tip of its beak in a duel against Celaeno, who lost the lower part of his right leg.
