Kona the Coffee Reindeer
Rudy Rooibos the Giraffe.
The grew up together in an orphanage in Cloudsdale. Nobody knows how either of them even got up there, but they soon became the two most popular kids in the joint. Problem was most ponies didn’t know what a Giraffe was, much less wanted to adopt him and his gruff Reindeer “brother” so the two were far into their adolescence and about to be kicked out when they met the Sweet Treat Family and their very special Unicorn daughter.
Fun Facts:

• Rudy is the only “pony” who can get Polly to be mischievous.
• Kona got his goggles from Rebel Red.
• Both Boys have a crush on Polly, but Kona is more serious about it.
  -Rudy falls head over hooves for Petit Fours when she goes through her final growth spurt.
• Rudy’s talent is making hot tea and sniffing out spices.
• Rudy and Kona’s Cutie Marks are identical but Kona has coffee beans whilst Rudy has Tea Leaves. Both are tattoos, as Giraffes and Reindeer don’t receive cutie marks.
  - They got them after the Sweet Treats Took them in, to “symbolize their becoming ponies.”
• Kona’s nose is dusty rose colored, much to his chagrin.
  - Polly thinks it’s cute and will comment on it, which causes him to become uncharacteristically flustered.
  - Polly is sassy and does it on purpose. Kona hasn’t figured it out.
• Rudy often gets things tangled in his horns and doesn’t notice them.
  - Ironically Kona has no problem with his horns.
• Rocky Road and Kona often hiking while French Vanilla and Rudy have Tea Time each afternoon.
• Kona can fly, he just doesn’t know it. He has been known to levitate in his sleep.
