A good amount of fics out there have Derpy as being taken care of by either these two or Carrot top.
 
I think I like it best with these two, she is like there adopted but adult daughter. She can be fun and silly with Lyra and yet has a deep careing and sometimes phylisophical side for Bon-Bon. And of course they both look after her as well, she is Derpy after all.

Funny, but it didn’t hit me until now, how Derpy does a good trio with Bonbon and Lyra. I do recall a good number of comics with them, but only realised it now.
