Description
Neither of them are especially interested in having kids! Scrapjack thinks they’re weird and gross and kinda creepy, and Rotgut just isn’t particularly interested in motherhood. Their lifestyle is also very much not suited for children. I can see them settling down in a little cottage or maybe an old farmhouse later on in their lives after they’ve taken care of the king, but definitely no kiddos in the future.
As for who said “I love you” first, that would be Jack! She’s definitely the more open of the two as far as expressing feelings, so she has no qualms about letting Rottie know how fond of her she is. She gives a cheerful “Love ya, Rots!” at least once a day. Rotgut is much more reserved with her words, but she shows her love in other ways– horn bumps, nuzzles, little acts of kindness and sweet gestures. They’re very good at reading each other, so even when Rot has a hard time saying the words, Jack knows she’s loved ^^
