Raven’s costume caused quite a bit of confusion among the bronyspere when the ep aired, I recall. Personally, I don’t see why a universe that includes pretty much every other mythological being in existence couldn’t include a version of the devil, as folklore if nothing else, he has its root in pre-christian mythology after all.

Satan’s appearance is based around a lot of pre-christian myths of like. Evil goat spirits. It’s all about that Pan connection.
As such, I propose that Raven’s “Satan” costume – Was actually a Grogar Father of Monsters costume. Since the real Grogar has been gone for millenia, he wouldn’t be remembered as he actually looked. Not by mortal pones anyway. – Discord knew, but that’s because Discord was an immortal god.
