Very true and sprout’s mom deserves more side eyes than him. She made him that way and directly assists his bad behavior, then is shocked by how he turned out and just runs off away from him at the end of the movie

Guy has a point. In western movies, all the problems in the world are portrayed to be caused by some mustache twirling bad guy and once you beat that bad guy, all the problems magically disappear. For once a movie doesn’t have a bad guy but still shows problems happening to the protagonists and people’s brains snapped. Lol. Try researching the writing style Kishotenketsu for a bit. It’ll make sense.
Sprout is a victim that needs help, not a villain to be punished. He’s no different than any pony who bought into the lie. The only difference was, Sprout had more determination and resourcefulness than a regular pony so he was able to do what he did.

Well if we give him the benefit of a doubt of not doing what he was doing just for a power trip. Then u could argue he falls under Well intended Extremist IF not for the fact he tries to launch a war if they were already at war truly that would be a bit different but him launching it himself more or less puts him in Knight Templar territory under the idea of believing himself to be doing good for the earth ponies.
