I’ve been updating Movie Slate in a relatively consistent fashion for almost a year, and somehow never uploaded a single one of those panels over here on DeviantArt. I never claim to be the sharpest tool in the shed, but even for me this was a pretty dull move. From this point on I’ve decided to upload at least one or two pictures every week, most from those updates I actually feel pretty good about.

Have you noticed how, since the establishment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we’ve had such an outburst of dark, gritty and deconstructive superhero movies and TV shows lately? Between “The Boys” and “Invincible” we had this one little movie shoved around, and it seems it didn’t gel all that well with audiences. I mean sure, it got good reviews, and it has a dedicated cult following, but it seems the movie didn’t cause the splash it could’ve, and I have no idea why.
