Beautiful
It was the end of nighttime. Or, the time when night should be. Luna had been in the caves for a day and a half, now. It was her second night. She had noticed that the cave was always lit during the day, as if the light from above seeped through the ground and dropped in through the ceiling. At night, the caves were dark, lit only by the torches and fires.
Luna hadn’t been able to get any sleep, haunted by fear. Thoughts raced through her head, keeping her awake. _How can I get out? Is there even a way out? Which way do I go? Does Celestia know I’m missing? Will she send somepony for me? _She had been crying all night, but managed to keep it quiet so Sombra wouldn’t hear.
As the light began lighting up the cave, Sombra walked out of his room. Luna quickly wiped her tears away as best she could. “Good morning, Princess,” he greeted her. “How was your night?”
Luna didn’t turn around. She was trying not to sniffle. *The Princess of the Night does not look weak in front of her enemies, _she told herself. Sombra stopped. “Hellooo…. Princeeeess.” Luna didn’t respond. He shrugged. “Suit yourself.” He walked over to the fireplace and began warming his hooves. Luna watched him, wishing for the warmth. The stone had sucked every bit of heat from her body, keeping her shivering for the past several hours.
“What would you rather have for breakfast?” Sombra asked. “Oat casserole or fruit salad?” Luna kept her mouth shut and kept her eyes on the wall. Sombra look at her. “What’s wrong, Princess?” he asked, walking over. Luna scooted back as he approached, her mane falling around her face. _Why are you so afraid of him?! STOP BEING AFRAID OF HIM!* she screamed at herself, but it didn’t work. She tried to still her trembling hooves as he stepped closer…uncomfortably closer.
“Have you been crying?” he asked, noticing her red eyes.
“N-no,” she stammered defiantly. “I got a piece of stone in my eye.”
“I can tell when somepony is lying, Princess,” he informed her. “It’s sort of a talent I have.” He stepped even closer. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing,” she retorted, but she felt her tears surge forward as she thought of the fears from the night. She fought them back.
“Yeah, sure.” Sombra stopped and looked at her. He looked her up and down, then focused on her face. “Has anypony ever told you you look beautiful with your mane down?” Luna froze.
“W-what?” Fear and confusion welled up inside her.
“Or just beautiful in general?” Sombra finished, smirking. “Very pretty?” Luna shrank back, but he grabbed her chain in his magic and halted her. “Never?”
“N-no,” she stuttered, her eyes wide in fear.
“Hm. Not a lie.” Sombra smirked. “Well, you are very beautiful.” He pulled her closer. “And I used to consider Celestia appealing.”
Thoughts of her sister were too much for Luna. Her tears began to fall. She blinked, trying to stop them, but they only flowed faster, running down her cheeks.
“Aww, none of that.” Sombra reached out a hoof and brushed her cheek. Luna jerked, fear giving her strength. She yanked the chain away from his magic and began to fall backwards. Sombra clicked his tongue in disapproval, grabbing her chain again and pulling her back. “No leaving yet.” He reached out with his hoof again and wiped her eyes. Luna tried to yank again, but Sombra held her head in place with his magic.
Luna gasped in fear as his hoof touched her, squinting her eyes closed and turning her head as far as his magic would allow (which wasn’t very far). “Oh, now, Luna,” Sombra purred, “no need to be shy.”
He called me Luna, Luna realized. _Not Princess. _She shook in fear as he grinned down at her, his fangs showing.
“S-s-stop p-p-p-please,” Luna begged, trying to move backwards.
“Why so frightened?” Sombra asked, amusement in his eyes. “I’m not going to hurt you.” Luna wasn’t comforted. Sombra stepped closer, his face a few inches from hers. “You really are ravishing,” he murmured. Luna’s heart was pounding, she was gasping for air. The collar was slowly tightening on her throat, cutting of her wind pipe. Sombra’s face began to fade. Everything started to spin. And then……..the world went black.

So, I drew this a week or so ago, but I wasn’t going to post it until I saw varelabro1 ’s comment on my poll. So, thank you! 🙂
I’ll be able to work on these more over the next week, so any suggestions are VERY HELPFUL!!!!
