Twilight Sparkle and her friends, Applejack and Rarity, stepped out of the portal, which took into a village with several houses very close to each other. “This place seems rather… too silent.” Applejack told her her friends, turning her head around, knowing that nobody is around.
 
“What exactly is this place? Where are we?” Rarity wondered, unsure where in the real world she and her friends are at. “It looks like we appear to be in a village.” Twilight Sparkle answered.
 
“But where is everybody?” Applejack asked Twilight Sparkle, as she was still wondering why no one’s around. “They must be inside their houses or something.” Twilight Sparkle replied, as that was the only answer she could think best.
 
“To be honest, it isn’t fair that we enter a village and there’s nobody outside.” Rarity said, as people, much like with ponies, are supposed to be outside when possible.
 
“That’s different from when we entered Starlight’s village a long time ago.” Applejack added, as she understood the fact that almost every single pony appeared outside when she and her friends first came.
 
Rarity looked up in the air just for a few seconds, and then lowered her head back down. “Hey, I got an idea!” She happily told her friends. “What is it?” Twilight Sparkle and Applejack answered.
 
“I think we should help out with some of the people in this village.” Rarity said, feeling like helping out with the humans in the village is a good idea.
 
“I love this idea!” Applejack agreed on Rarity’s suggestion.
 
The three ponies began looking answers, starting with the closest door towards them. Rarity knocked her hoof on the door, but she did not hear anything. “No answer.” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity and Applejack.
 
“Let’s just wait for them to come at the door, sugarcube.” Applejack told Twilight Sparkle, giving her advice on being patient for someone or something.
 
The three ponies waited for about two minutes, and then someone was finally at the door, revealing to be a woman, whose hair was blonde. “Well, it’d be about time you’d show up.” Applejack told the woman, as she and the others got sick of waiting.
 
“Oh, I’m so sorry about that…” The woman told the ponies, as she was too busy doing her chores in her house. “Anyways, my name is Victoria, and I’ve been living in this village for 27 years.”
 
“27 years?” Rarity and Twilight Sparkle said in shock. Applejack then started telling Victoria, “I know this may sound weird, but living in a village for 27 years is like a long time.” “I know, but this village might change very soon.” Victoria told Applejack, as the future would depend on her and her neighbors in the village.
 
“We came here to help out with you people on some chores somewhere, and since we are running into you first, I guess we may as well get it over with.” Twilight Sparkle told Victoria, as she was the first person in the village Twilight Sparkle and her friends ran into.
 
Victoria, appreciating Twilight Sparkle and her friends’ offer, said, “Thank you! I really love it when someone like you helps me around this village.
 
“Now just give me a sec…” Victoria told the three ponies, walking towards her room and look for some clothes that Twilight Sparkle and her friends can wear.
 
“You’ll be putting these on.” Victoria told Twilight Sparkle and her friends, as she put the aprons over the ponies. “Well, these aprons look like they fit very nice, darling.” Rarity said, as she loves the aprons very well.
 
Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, and Rarity followed Victoria into her house as she gave them the first assignment. “First, clean the dishes properly.” She told the ponies, as she wanted her house looking fresh and clean.
 
“I don’t ever remember cleaning dishes back in Equestria.” Rarity told Twilight Sparkle as cleaning the dishes is like washing clothes. “Neither have I.” Twilight Sparkle replied back, agreeing with what Rarity told her. “At least I’ve been cleaning and washing these darn dishes at my farm.” Applejack told the two ponies, as she and her family always do chores all the time.
 
“Don’t worry, if you haven’t done cleaning dishes before, there’s always a chance that this would be your first time doing so.” Victoria reminded Rarity and Twilight Sparkle.
 
The ponies have been cleaning and washing the dishes very nice, much for the fact Twilight and Rarity haven’t been using magic the whole time. “Looks like we’re doing this woman a very good favor.” Rarity told Applejack and Twilight Sparkle.
 
“You three have cleaned enough.” Victoria told the three ponies, as she told to stop what they were doing and move on to the next step.
 
“What’s the next step?” Twilight Sparkle asked Victoria, wondering whether the next step would be either too easy or too hard difficult for her friends to do. “The next step: Put everything on the bed!” Victoria said, taking her and Twilight Sparkle’s friends into her room.
 
The ponies, entering Victoria’s bedroom, said with unamused faces, “How dull.”
 
“Don’t worry, it’s just a simple task that my neighbors in my village can do very well and they don’t have a problem with it all.” Victoria reminded the ponies, knowing that putting the pillow, blanket, and everything else wasn’t that hard.
 
“We know, but me and my friends never have done this before in Equestria.” Twilight Sparkle argued, as she and her friends never did any chores like this in their universe.
 
The ponies, initially not happy with the second task, later changed their minds and accept the task.
 
“Rarity, you can do the pillows, and Applejack, you do the blankets!” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity and Applejack, as she had a plan on which one they should do.
 
The three ponies all did what they had to do, under Twilight Sparkle’s leadership, and reorganize Victoria’s bed.
 
A few minutes later, the ponies have reorganized Victoria’s bed, having her look amazed. “Why thank you very much, little ponies.” Victoria told the three ponies, as she got the help she needed with three ponies.
 
“It has been a pleasure!” Applejack said with excitement as she shook her hoof with Victoria’s hand for her and her friends’ hard work. “You’ve been such a great friend to us, too.” Rarity told Victoria, as the humans in the real world could also be friendly quite often.
 
“Since you ponies have helped me so much, here’s a reward for all the hard work you three ponies have been doing for me today.” Victoria said, as she pulled out a necklace, giving it to the three ponies.
 
“That’s it? Just one necklace?” Rarity asked, as she was confused why Victoria didn’t had three necklaces. “Actually, that single necklace is for all three of you to share with.” Victoria told Rarity. “Thanks, Victoria!” The ponies said with happiness as they walked out of her house.
 
The ponies, now outside, felt happy they have one necklace they can share with each other when they get back in Equestria. “Well, looks like we’ve learned a great lesson about helping others with chores.” Applejack told her friends as she was happy they all have helped Victoria with her chores.
 
“Yes, we did.” Twilight Sparkle said, as all the hard work they’ve been doing earned them a necklace they can share with each other on the way back.
 
“I wonder Rainbow, Pinkie, and Fluttershy would see this beautiful necklace that’s like a diamond when we get back.” Rarity told Applejack and Twilight Sparkle, causing them both to laugh.
 
“I bet it would be better if we told them about how much we’ve helped someone in this place.” Applejack chuckled.
 
A portal appeared in front, as the ponies must return to Equestria immediately.
 
“Looks like it means we better get moving.” Twilight Sparkle told Applejack and Rarity, knowing that everyone in Equestria is waiting for them.
 
Twilight Sparkle walked into the portal first, followed by Rarity. “Seems I’m the last one to walk through the portal, as she walked right the portal so that she can catch up with the other two ponies, right before the portal closed on her.
