How should I know? However I’ll say this. G5 start with the handicap of having an hard act to follow with G4. It was always going to be compared to G4 no matter what

You make “pandering” always sound like a negative concept. The first Star Trek TNG episode featured a Dr Mccoy cameo for example, I mean it’s inevitable they are going to nod to the Gen that dragged the franchise out of the G3 dead-end
