~Umbrums are the mutated versions of Windigo invented by Grogar, they shadowy monsters/spirits

~They are not effected by the cold because of the Windigo heritage

~They were infected by “The Malice” for a long period of time before Hades helped them out

~They are now nearly extinct because of the Umbrum and Crystal Empire war, Sombra and Penumbra being the only ones left.

~There was one an old saying about Umbrums to keep foals from traveling in the mountains:
“For those to wander the mountain peaks so cold,
you are both so foolish and bold.
Try to be brave and look to the sky,
and hark the Umbrum’s cry.
Just take many a cautious breath,
and beware the shadowy face of death.”

~They are a species known to be carnivorous, and will hunt and eat raw meat.

~They are not well accepted in society, mainly due to the fact that they are monsters and because of Sombra’s reign on the Crystal Empire.
