NG- Octavia Melody
Always prim and poised, Octavia knew her path from a young age. She adored the classical arts like no one else her age and she had a hyper focus on what it would take to get her into Carneighgie Hall and she had time for little else. Octavia didn’t make many friends through her school years but she had an ear for talent and networked to those she thought could make the climb to stardom. It wasn’t until she was in college and stressed beyond measure that her life changed for the better.

Her few friends convinced her to take a break from all the studying and practice and actually go out and have some fun. She dreaded the sight of the night club the stopped in front of and was ready to make up a half-baked excuse to just go back to her dorm and throw on Beethooven's symphony and call it a night. They pulled her inside before she had the chance to run and later she would be eternally grateful for her failed escaped. The music inside was loud and pounding and the venue packed with ponies, but it was the mare on stage that caught her attention. 



The electric beauty was weaving notes and baselines like she was born to do it and Octavia was drowning in her melodies. Her heart was lit aflame for she could tell that the white unicorn held a love for music like she did, it wasn't just a hobby or a job but their life blood and Octavia felt the stress of her upcoming finals melt away as she lost herself in the beat. She danced freely for the first time in her life and unknowingly attracted Vinyl Scratch's attention both had felt the instant attraction and pull. 



They found each other after Vinyl's set and slipped out of the club in the early morning hours and into a quite diner to rest their hooves and get to know one another better. It would be several years later after Octavia's first performance at Carneighgie that Vinyl would propose to Octavia.
