No, but there would’ve been endless discussion and debate about whether it would be a good idea to have her ascend to alicorn status in the show when it comes out, if perhaps she should stay Earth Pony or if her ascension is an important step in realising the legacy of the Six.

Agree with you on this, it will be too early. It would be fitting if Sunny and her friends ended their adventures in the G5 when she becomes an alicorn many years into the future. But some of the toys have created a riddle; here in this picture we could see the helmet with two openings for the ears, but certain toys have helmets with three openings - the one where a horn will sit.
 
We will see if she will not have to face her fate so early. But if she were to become an alicorn early in life, it would be very unusual, as it could be many centuries since the last one, so she would start on bare ground without expertise or rules. At the very least, it is very unlikely that the governments in what constitute Equestria in the G5 will give her the title of princess or power. But she will be a role model that the ponies will look up to.
 
It will be much tougher for her if she becomes an alicorn before the world is ready for it.

Alicorn arise through extraordinary gestures, and what Sunny will do is on the same level as others had done, when the magic took them and reborn them as alicorn. But I do not think Sunny will be an alicorn until the end of the G5, when her world is complete and thus needs an alicorn that will symbolize a new beginning, a sunrise for the ponies. Her name, her cutie mark, a few pictures of her as a filly, and her ambitions are solid indications that she will be the first alicorn perhaps ever since Twilight Sparkle. She did not have to be a princess. And we probably will not see this in many years if the writers behind G5 do a good job.
 
Furthermore; both Pipp and Zippy are atypical princesses who generally do not care about their status as royals from what we have seen so far.
 
Sunny as an adult alicorn twenty years after the end of the movie seems appealing.

Alicorn Sunny? Big doubt, maybe I’m wrong but Pipp is already a princess, they are not going to copy G4 story beats verbatim IMO

and about the trailer’s release, i hope it’ll be by the start of july, which is tomorrow.

Sunny`s fate as an upcoming alicorn is only reaffirmed as she lives in a lighthouse - which was high above the city like a castle, fortunately we will not witness this possibly until the end of the G5 in many years. It is interesting to see how the 3D ponies move when they either skate or enter an entrance; the very large hooves in relation to the body give them a special gait that may seem foreign to us, but it is slippery, and thus works well for the ponies.
 
At least we know that Sunny and her friends had disguised themselves when they visited Izzy’s home and that the whole gang had gone first from Maretime Bay to Zephyr hills, and then to Bridlewood Forest. The hypothesis that Izzy may have had a memory loss seems to be true, but why Sunny and her friends went together we have no motive, curiosity and openness is not enough. Maybe Izzy had found the clue about how the magic disappeared. So what will come after Bridlewood Forest will be of great interest in finding out if large parts of the G4 have survived into the G5.
 
But as I said early; the frustration is now pushing itself to the surface as there have only so far been animated gallery introductions and animated images that have come to this, the teaser trailer completely absent, only the latest and greater trailer has not arrived. Too much now comes from anything other than trailers, we now have the name and appearance of the character gallery from the movie.
