how typical
Just yesterday, something set for release on September 10 on Netflix just got a teaser trailer. So most likely, we could get a trailer for MLP G5 by August 7.
What?!
I thought the trailer’s release is planned for this month.
Because hasbro be messed up o_o
(The teaser was split up, with Sunny, Izzy and Hitch revealed way back in February and Pipp and Zipp in April.)
My bad
Probably, but I’ll argue that 9/11 stand out more because it’s “barely” 20 years old and it undeniably left a mark on the American collective psyche since the mere mention of the date is synonymous globally to “Bin Laden launch plane in NY towers”
Yeah it can cause a bit of an awkwardness but yet again, has no significance. Since basically every day can be related back to a historical tragic event.
You gotta admit that it’ll conjure some particular imagery in the average spectators mind. You’re right to say that it’ll ultimately won’t matter and that company will probably not establish every 9/11 day as a sacred day where no movies should be released but regardless there will still be a little hint of akwardness
What significance does the 9/11 terrorist attack has with the release of the movie? No one cares if it’s the same date.
One of only two dates in September that has anything significant to me…
Yep, that is what I am guessing, as well. July would be a good month to release the first trailer.
That would be way too late, honestly. At that point you might as well not release a trailer at all. You know that movies generally have multiple trailers, right? September 11 would be the time the final trailer is released before the film is released.
Around the end of September…
You clearly don’t care about knowing what the characters sound like at all. To you they should just remain stale pictures with no life to them.
While trailers may spoil a bit of a movie, they also give you a better understanding of what the characters will be like and what the world will be like. These things are incredibly important when you are talking about a movie that will be the starting point of an entirely new franchise with entirely new characters! Right now we know nothing, outside from the synopsis and the clips sent to us by Hasbro or Boulder Media. And it would be nice to know a bit more than that, for once.
