No, I don’t think so. While Netflix owns the distribution rights, Hasbro alone owns the rights to MLP. So they are the only ones that can announce the show officially.
NOT LEAKED!! Netflix HAVE distribution rights so it WAS announced officially. Also Netflix in Malaysia ALWAYS use original titles for movies/series. ALWAYS!
I meant officially. That is a leak from a Malaysian Netflix account, not Hasbro. And thing is, many shows have different names in different countries, so the name for the Malaysian series could be different for the name used in North American broadcasting.
Still, if Hasbro does indeed come out and the name is correct, then I applaud you for finding this early leak.

Yes, but actually no. For one, Spike was voiced by a woman rather than a man, and also Spike was not actually part of the main cast of characters. He was more of a secondary character, much like Starlight later on.
