Edited
Is there a face you WOULD like to see bearing down on you on the battlefield?
Proof.
An old pic but kinda relevant.
And at the heart of the hobby. Warhammer World itself.
Edited because: Another thing.
Me personally, I wouldn’t do a paintjob like this. I prefer to keep mine a bit closer to canon, but I have no problem going up against this stuff. I like to keep my hobby fun.
I’m probably responsible for Mystia doing this force, (Although his painting skills are better than mine).
I’ve found they tend to get a mixed response from 40k fans.
Some see it as what it is. A bit of fun, and a means to get a cohesive force without painting the exact same colour scheme over and over again, which can get tedious.
Others prefer their game unsullied by such things, and these are the ones that get annoyed by this sort of thing.
when i first started yes now i think theyve got use to it so i get next to none.
