Saccharine read the spell’s page over and over again. No- it couldn’t be right. But yet, no matter how many times she looked it over, it read the same warning:
 
But the pony must focus their mind on the pony they want to change, else the spell will change the fate of the most dwelled pony upon thought.
 
She knew what it meant. The Apples weren’t in danger at all, the pony that she spell would affect was none other than-
 
The door slammed open, and a familiar face (though twisted in confusion, horror, and regret) greeted her. “Saccharine! You need to reverse the spell!”
 
“I think I’ve got that covered.”
 
Frostbite closed the door and drew the blinds, clearly paranoid that they could be caught and possibly in a big heap of trouble. “What do you mean? Why do you not seem to care that the six most powerful ponies in Equestria are after us?”
 
“Because your family is safe. I did the spell wrong.” Saccharine gestured for Frost to look at the page- “See? The spell applies to whatever pony the caster- me- is thinking about, not who they want it to affect.”
 
“So… who’s fate was altered?”
 
“I think we need to go to Princess Twilight to find out.”
