You ask Dawn Break if you can attack multiple tendrils in one turn.
Dawn Break: “Normally they would be too far apart, but with the range of Manipulation, you may be able to swipe at a group of three.”
You decide to give it a try, and roll a ten…
Blood Edge casts Manipulation, and attacks the enemies around him. The floating sword spins around him and slices through his foes, leaving a dark trail behind, and dealing four damage to each target.
The Titan’s attention suddenly turns to Blood Edge. The three tendrils around Opaline sink into the ground, and move to the warlock.
The first tendril attacks, scraping him for one damage. Blood Edge gains one magic point from Masochism, and mysteriously takes one additional damage to gain an extra magic point, now at full magic.
He then skillfully dodges the second tendril’s attack, but is taken by surprise as the third one strikes him from below, critically hitting for four damage. Blood Edge falls unconscious, and his fellblade fades away.
Opaline: “Yikes. Don’t worry, I’ll revive you soon.”
In the midst of battle, Whirlpool and the three charmed tendrils finish their activities, and slowly come back to their senses. Whirlpool is no longer ensnared, silenced and stunned, but she is now crippled…
Sea Swirl: “Pfft! Worth it!”
With Blood Edge fallen, the Titan now focuses on Tailkicker. Three tendrils move from the warlock’s body to the fighter, and join the other two in their assault. Tailkicker successfully dodges the first two strikes, but the third one hits her for two damage. She then dodges one more, and uses her small shield to block the last attack.
Opaline: “We really could use some of your magic, Whirlpool! Tailkicker, hang in there. I’ll heal you as soon as I can.”
Tailkicker: “I’m okay! I can take a lot more than that!”
Opaline uses her star fragment on Blood Edge. The star glows brightly, and shines upon the fallen pony, reviving him, and bringing him back to full health.
Opaline: “That was my last star fragment, so be careful!”
Tailkicker swings her shortsword at one of fellblade’s victims, slashing it for one damage. The black tendril is defeated, and turns to dust.
Tailkicker: “Yeah! We’re doin’ it!”
