It was the summer of ’98 in San Diego. It was hotter than the nerd-rage going on around me. It was the great Star Trek War. The Kirk faction had just decimated those poor valiant souls of the Janeway faction and they were continuing to duke it out with their eternal foes, the Picard faction.
 
When, all of a sudden, in swooped the Sisko squadron. They just came out of freaking nowhere, man. I wish I could say they fought the good fight and the Sisko kids let them be, but the Star Trek fandom is no fairytale story. I, a member of the Picard militia, managed to make it out unscathed. Bottles and cans of orange and grape soda littered the sidewalk. One chubby bastard of a neckbearded man-child, an obvious member of the Kirk clan by the looks of his retro outfit, had taken a good deal of damage. His cheeks were red and swollen from the slapping and his stringy hair was drenched in Mountain Dew.
 
I wept amongst the bodies of my fallen comrades and foes and screamed so loud that my voice cracked for the third time that day. “WHY?!”

The point is that this fandom will pretty much over anything, not all I remind you but some that will try to make others get involve

It’s like the dresses Princess Celestia and Princess Luna wore, or that hairdo Princess Cadance had in “Games Ponies Play”. They were for special occasions. However, if Twilight does keep the new mane style, I won’t complain. I think it looks good.
