For our next MLP:FIM couples here are the two tightest gal pals in Ponyville: Bon Bon and Lyra Heartstrings!
 
These two mares have always been the best of friends. Always doing the same thing together, always giving each other gifts, always working together, and always enjoying every moment of it. The blue and pink-maned Earth Pony, Bon Bon, knows for a fact that “there’s nothing like a best friend,” and the green Unicorn, Lyra, knows that “anything’s possible when you know somepony as well as [we] know each other!” Their friendship will always stand the tests of time. But one day, their tight amity was put to a very tight test.
 
On the day of Cranky Doodle Donkey and Matilda’s wedding, a bugbear attacked Ponyville. Lyra and Bon Bon were at the Town Hall decorating for the ceremony when they heard the beast’s roar. Bon Bon, realizing the bugbear had returned, revealed her true identity as “Special Agent Sweetie Drops” with Bon Bon as her alias, and that she had been tasked by the secret monster-hunting agency, S.M.I.L.E., with capturing the bugbear until it escaped from Tartarus. Lyra was shocked by this revelation and upset that their friendship was based on a lie, but Bon Bon assured her that their friendship is real before leaving to find a crowd to blend into. After helping the Mane Six defeat Bugbear, Bon Bon returned to town hall to patch things up with Lyra. Although the former agent was worried that her bestie would disown her as a friend for keeping a secret, Lyra admitted her secret for eating expensive imported oats Bon Bon was saving for a special occasion. So it’s quite clear these two are still friends.
 
However, their friendship would blossom into true romantic love. On the day Big Mac and Sugar Belle proposed to each other, Lyra and Bon Bon proposed to each other as well! They both gave each other wedding rings without the other knowing. Needless to say, they were overwhelmed with elation. Then, sometime before Twilight Sparkle’s coronation as the new ruler of Equestria, the two gal pals got married! What was once a womance became a full-on romance. In the end, these celebrated best friends forever make one of the best couples in Equestria.
 
 
At first I was concerned about making new poses for these two. But then seeing how the vectors of Lyra and Bon Bon I used for my Pride Month pic would do just the thing. As for the sentiment, I don’t know if this will work. It can be both platonic and romantic, or either. What do you guys think?
