“It’s about putting aside differences to come together, like the Earth ponies, Pegasi, and unicorns did on the first holiday.”
Twilight knows very much about Equestria’s first holiday and its meaning. Hearth’s Warming is not just about presents, decorations, or paegants. It’s about putting aside differences, to stop fighting and arguing over petty things, and come together with the warmth of harmony, love, and friendship among all. And even though she is the Princess of Friendship, I believe our purple smart book horse practically embodies the spirit of Hearth’s Warming. Heart Christmas Tree
At first, I planned on submitting the vector as shown in the screenshot, but then I thought I could take the risk and do a full-body. Now normally I wouldn’t attempt that if only half of the character was shown, so this is considered an exception. However, considering that this proved to be incredibly tricky and since the legs were shown in the template, I probably got the length of said legs wrong. I also struggled with the left front leg, and I thought I was going to spend all night to find a screenshot with her holding her leg up in that angle. But I managed to find the closest reference, and I think it fits. So anyway, despite the issue with the other legs, I think this turned out perfectly.
Only one more day until Hearth’s Warming Eve and two more days until Hearth’s Warming Day! I just realized that I never got an Equestrian flag, and if I order it, it’ll arrive after Hearth’s Warming. I wish there was another way to do the flag tradition without it.
