Not knowing and not caring are two different things, though. From the way Fireweed told it to Thistle, Tempest fired on the farm once the ponies there fought the storm creatures off. If she did so because the ponies fought back, then she willingly accepted she could be killing them; you can’t set fire to a building you know ponies are using and then claim ignorance. That goes beyond ‘uninentional’.
 
Okay I would really mean Tempest indirectly killed Winter Rye but she didn’t know that at the time and Thistle explain to Tempest about it.

Tempest didn’t know and didn’t care at the time since she was still on one of the Storm King’s blimps since this story was set before the events of the movie.
 
I really meant the flashback pages from the story that was set before the movie.

Thistle was right there, Thistle was right next to her brother and would have quickly grab that Thunderstone crystal before it could make Fireweed do something stupid and toss it in the river, give her baby bro the tough love and the slap in the face and demand him to apologize to and give Tempest a chance of redemption that Tempest was sorry for what she did to Winter Rye even though what Tempest did back then was unintentional.

Two bad it didn’t happen like that but Tempest did survived and unexpectedly regain her horn but at the same time she is slowly possses by the being in the Thunderstone but let’s hope it won’t last for long.

The next page will reveal that Tempest got hurt from the explosion but she barely survived much to Fireweed’s childish whining that she’s still alive then she quickly recovered and got an unexpected power boost from the Thunderstone but hope Tempest would control this new power and still protect Lullaby and Thistle (once Tempest regains Thistle’s trust in her again)

That might mean more if Tempest didn’t enjoy flaunting her strength and power over others so much during fights. Because that makes it look like she has fun beating others up, rather than that she fights to protect. In fact, she outright says she likes it.

But Tempest did warn Fireweed how dangerous the Thunderstone is but he was blinded by his hatred and vengeance on Tempest to see it and initially try to stop him from using it to save him.

Or hopefully the love, friendship and kindness of her adopted daughter, Lullaby and her soon to be fiancée, Thistle (after Tempest regains her trust in her again) will give give Tempest the strength to overcome this.

I think it’ll be Thistle but she will survive but will need medical help from both her brother and Tempest and that would help Tempest regain her trust in Thistle again and at the same time Fireweed will realize he made a terrible mistake, ditch that evil being in the Thunderstone and give Tempest a chance to trust her for his sisters sake.
 
Later Fireweed will question his cousin Rusty by secretly making him drink one of Thistle’s truth serums to reveal what Rusty really did to Thistle and Lullaby before Tempest attack him.
