I bet, that such footwear would become very popular.
They would also feel quite sticky and squishy to walk on, probably sliding and retracting between the toes with every step! Would certainly be quite an interesting sensation wearing them inside the shoes, especially after a while.
I thought about funny thing, that if he wore the pair of slimes, instead socks. They would tickle, make him sensetive, clean the soles from any kind of dirt and absorb the sweat. That would be the interesting kind of the footwear.
I did notice that they look like some sort of squishy slime with their green neon coloring. I think that this is a fun visual detail tho, so I let them stay like that. Fits his theme too 👌
