You awake with blurred vision to an unfamiliar place. As your sight clears you see two vaguely shaped equine figures standing before you. One seems tall and lean looking, the other short and round. Eventually you start to hear sound and when the white noise clears you hear the figures speaking.
 
Old coot: “Hm, your summoning was too slow. You need to do it quicker to compensate for yourself.”
 
Purple horse: “Yes, uncl- Eep!”
 
The tall pony swiftly swats the smaller one on the flank with a cane that appears in a puff of smoke. Leaving her with a light blush on her face…
 
Old coot: “While under my tutelage you will refer to me as Master. Understood young lady?”
 
Purple horse: “Yeah, yeah, ugh. So did I at least get it to work this time?”
 
Old coot: ”I told you it’s telepathic. It’s thoughts and yours are mentally connected so you should be able to learn things it knows. Go ahead and ask it the color of my hat.”
 
Purple horse: ”Um…ok, but you said it’s a crystal ball right. It doesn’t have eyes so how the heck can it see better than me?”
 
Old coot: ”Stop thinking too hard and just do it.”
 
Purple horse: ”Ok,fine. Hey familiar thingy, what color is Master’s hat?… I still wish I could have summoned a kitty.”
