That’s just instances of forgiveness, not a continuous, open-standing, unconditional, prospective, and mutual blank check for forgiveness that everyone who lives together has an unspoken agreement to maintaining. It’s two-way and does not have a numeric limit. It’s something really specific that has to be stated rather than implied, otherwise it won’t quite hit that exact target.
I think we had a misunderstanding regarding the meaning of my question. But that’s okay :) I’m impressed at your list of examples.
I think Road to Friendship might be close to what I’m talking about. I’ll have to re-watch it.

You’re right, it didn’t.
But it shows that lesson any time Starlight and Trixie were on screen.
I don’t think the show ever directly stated it, is what I mean. The whole mutual “putting up with each other’s shit” thing. “You drive me nuts sometimes, but I love you anyway because you put up with me when I drive you nuts.”

That’s okay mate, no one’s perfect. One message this show never delivered (but it should have) is that an important part of friendship is putting up with each other’s mistakes and flaws. You do it with the understanding that the other person will show you the same courtesy. It’s a mutual thing :)

I have the same problem, but specifically with extended family members that I never talk to and am only vaguely aware that they exist. Great aunts/uncles, or second cousins once removed, etc. I see them maybe once every 2 years and I can never remember their names or faces, while my father seems to be perpetually disappointed in me for “not being able to do something so simple.” I don’t know who these people are, Dad. Just because I’ve met them doesn’t mean I know them.
Point is, don’t feel bad.
I’d forget the name as I’m repeating it in my head. Would a pen and a notepad be too impolite in this situation?
I personally keep repeating the name mentally and I start my next few sentence with their name, like:
“But Mr.Paunocu, how come…”
“Interesting Mr.Zebostola, what do you…”
“Well Mr.Chupingole why don’t we…”
Works most of the time.
Now you’ve mentioned it, how do you get good with names? ‘Cause I’ve been trying for years with no success — maybe it’s just the method.

I suck at properly expressing myself. I suck even harder at apologizing.
That’s why I hate when I my feelings, and my opinions, end up on my comics.
I’m asking this of you: patience. Be patient with me. I have several mental issues, so it isn’t easy for me. But i do try my best, and I pour my everything into making comics that everyone at this site can enjoy.
