oh yeah, for this clip the slow motion is emphasized for that “sexy”/ “love at first sight” effect, which is great for pointing out the eye closing trick I was mentioning. Like I was saying you’ll start to notice it if you pay attention to the eyes of characters that turn their heads in cartoons.

Animation tip, when doing any kind of head turn, closing the eyes during the mid movement part is standard. Watch any cartoon and watch their eyes when they turn their heads, you’ll begin to see what I’m talking about. I’m not sure what it’s called tho. Something about the Arc of motion or something. I don’t know. I’m not a real animator.
