I honestly have no idea, but in that wiki article there are many examples of unicorn pictures that have traits like this one, albeit not as stylized.

Her horn is freakishly long like that to indicate her magical ability- the more magical you are the more curved and long it is in this art style.

Classical as in medieval times, not as in classic animations… In ye olden days, unicorn designs were far from standardized so “classical unicorn” is a very loose term, but it’s not at all uncommon to see old unicorn designs with horns like this.
