Moments later, the caramel shifted over his eyes before his whole form sank beneath the liquid chocolate, trapped in the perilous embrace of candy as the sarcophagus lid slid back into place with unseen spectral force, a slight dribble down the outer edge of the chocolate before the two pieces sealed together into one solid chunk of decorative chocolate, holding the hapless hippogriff within.
 
His struggle continued, sealed in the blissful sweet darkness, able to shift just slightly in the gooey chocolate, but not budge enough to even have the hope of extracting himself. Something in the magic kept him alive inside, beak stuck full of that intruding caramel…
 
Unknown to him how long he’d be trapped…
 
… but certainly, it would be a long time before he was ever found.
