It’s finally time. After 2 years (and change) of Early Access, the 1.0 release of Them’s Fightin’ Herds is finally here! Perfectly explained. And you are right. Many would have given up at that point. But over these two and a half years, they persevered.
Nope. The only thing Hasbro did was send a Cease and Desist letter when this was originally a fan game with the Mane 6. But after that happened, Lauren Faust offered to help design these new legal friendly original characters for this game.
And honestly? As much as I hate how that happened, I’m really glad we got these new characters, new lore, and new locations out of this new game. It’s really blossomed into its own unique thing.
So excited for these.
They’re animated, they just need to be balanced for gameplay now.
