Thanks for the tips, but I don’t think I’ll be doing any more pony life stuff. This was honestly just a shitpost for a friend. If I do decide against my better judgement and make more pony life art, I’ll be sure to remember your tips. <3

This picture isn’t bad, I like it! but I will give some critizations to help you improve your art:

  1. Try to Lower the eyes a bit and make the mouth clip into the eyes since the subject is Pony Life.

  2. Don’t make the muzzle look sharp, rounden it up a bit (JUST A LITTLE BIT) not too much.

  3. Make the tips of the tufted hair on the unshorn fetlocks slightly rounder. Try to put some work into them and make them look better.

  4. Make the nose nostril curve downwards

  5. Make the outlines at the bottom of the mouth an dark red to make it look more Pony-Life’ish’.

  6. Add lines on the horn

  7. Make the legs shorter to make it more chibi, Twilight Sparkle is an alicorn in Pony Life and she is the size of the regular ponies. Unless your OC is an older alicorn.

  8. Don’t make the pink part of the ears look widely exposed much, make it a little smaller. Also try to color it an hotter shade of pink.

  9. Make the head bigger sized and slightly lower it down the neck.

  10. On the outlines of the stifle, don’t make the hock appear behind it if the pony is facing straightly left, same goes for right. Though I can’t really tell if the pony is facing fully left, but if you ever do make any of the ponies face fully right or left, don’t make the hock appear behind the stifle.

  11. Make the upper right side of the neck curve slightly downwards a bit and adjust the left side of the neck to make it look better.

  12. If any of the ponies have wings, make the end of them have an more brighter shade of darkness. Unless your pony has really dark shadings at the end of their wings.

Hope this helped! I’d love to see your art next time if you followed any of my tips. :)
