Been getting stuck on the concept stage a lot, for different reasons. Thought I’d try to give some grip by going with a slice of life/apple moment. Just a little moment, rough paint, simple background. Playground for colour balancing.
 
Making this there was some uncertainty about what I was doing with the colours. Some parts feel like it could use some adjustments, but I can also see it as just a different approach that has its own aesthetic. When all options are ok is when things get hardest to choose one hah.
 
Anyhow, upping the Applejack quota.
