I fail to see what the big deal is, really. First, how do we know the transformation is permanent? It could be a one episode deal. Second, even if it is permanent, who’s to say Twilight would have full control over her abilities from the start? How many episodes can be milked simply from Twilight learning how to use her powers with the help of her friends? Who here doesn’t think Twilight learning to fly from Rainbow Dash would be a fun episode?
