Yeah, I heard that. Hopefully they’ll perhaps get a digital release via Comicsology. I know Marvel and DC are both going digital for the time being.
Well; Zecora would be an Alchemist, Tempest should serve as a Cleric, Applejack may make a great Druid, and Rockhoof? He definitely got the looks and skills of a Barbarian.

The writers from IDW have a surprising knowledge of secondary canon. I won’t expect him, but I won’t be surprised if he does appear either
I’m surprised anyone remembers him. But it would be a nice cameo.
I think we may be reading too much into this synopsis. Going with show proper, “Equestria” is clearly not the whole planet, with definitely Yakyakistan and the Dragon Lands falling outside the proper bounds. That still means at the fringes of the country there are dangerous spots, likely bordering their more dangerous neighbors. The synopsis above could mean that the area in Equestria bordering zebra country is considered dangerous because of the unknown factor of what zebras do and behave.

I mean, sure, but I’m still uncertain how hot I am for this whole “Equestria Conquered the planet and renamed it Equestria” thing that apparently happened.
We already had Queen Novo in the movie.
And moreso, its implied that S10 takes place a very short time after the coronation (like, maybe at most a year).
And that’s what I think most would want at least from the comics. The world remains familiar and we all still wanted world-building at that point.
I would love that if the vector of S10 is towards the more inter-species communal gathers that S9E26 had at the end of the day. Maybe this reachout to the zebras is the type of diplomacy towards that…
(And that hopefully means an issue with more kirin…

On their Youtube channel in The last problem scene in the description Twilight is called queen too.

Because season 10 takes place after Twilight’s coronation, but before the future scenes. It’s a midquel to The Last Problem!
Because Season 10 takes place in between the Finale and the Epilogue.
Also, is the world just called Equestria as well now? Do we have another Azeroth situation here?
And yet Tempest is the one who gets that most attention. Celano, Skystar and Grubber have been notably absent and Novo only had two small appearances in the comic. Capper, Songbrid and Tempest had larger roles. And Tempest more than any other character from the movie. Again, I can’t blame them because Tempest is awesome.
