Personally I like to think that grogar is essentially the g4 pony world equivalent of Satan who was evil enough to be banished the the shadow world/ dark realm (whichever term you prefer), which considering tartarus is pretty much hell would make the dark realm superhell where only those who are considered pure iredeemable evil are banished to. (At least that’s my personal headcanon.)

Only magical knowledge most likely. Which is why I typed overall knowledge for Moondancer.
I should point that that Moondancer wanted Twilight to teach her Haycartes’ method, presumably implying it’s in her ability to learn it. Now I’m not sure how complex that spell is, but I imagine that turning yourself into part of a book is not everyday unicorn magic.
Yeah but I don’t see how Math, english and home economics translate to more magic power.
When it comes to Exclusively magical knowledge, I think Sunburst is the king. If only he could actully apply his knowledge in a practical sense.
Might even be more knowledgeable than Sunburst overall since Moondancer studies more than just magic.
Her Theoretical knowledge, Judging by how seriously she takes her Studies, Could be second only to sunburst.
And she’s definitely better at putting her studies to practical use.
Honestly, What reason is there not to think she’s Powerful By unicorn standards?

I’m thinking the way he would be defeated would involve a last stand involving everything they could throw at him while someone destroys the Bell which contains his immortal soul.
Here’s hoping she takes a level in awesome during season 7.
