Snails learned to expand his abilities with gastropods and insects to larger animals and mammals, helping out Applebloom on Sweet Apple Acres. Granny taught him how to care for the pigs, sheep, and chickens. Because of this he also learned how to deliver babies. In fact he delivered Ms. Cheerilee’s first baby when her water broke during an air strike.
That scar on his shoulder is from the third zap apple season when the timber wolves came around. He was assisting Diamond Tiara in her inspection of the zap apples when one charged from the tree line. He managed to fight it off but it scratched him pretty badly. He didn’t really mind though. He still thought timberwolves were super cool, eh.
