I was just counting the artists that usually draw something right after the episode (or even during it!), and John is definitely one of them. (Other artist like this are Glanco, Karzahnii and Suikuzu, for example.)
And it’s a good thing because I like his art and don’t mind the sameface (and yet he proved to be able to do better). Plus, this one looks quite refined than his usual sketches.
In a way he’s like the jollyjack of pony artists. Jollyjack being one of Devantart’s shining examples.
Preeeety much. Which is good actually, it’s great that he has the drive to do that (although the quality of this one is…rushed for sure. I wonder if he feels like he HAS to get something up because he’s expected to). The only annoying thing to me is how ridiculously worked up people get about Joseco’s art. Oh well. I don’t think it’s hurting anyone. Unless every budding artist tries to copy his style exactly because they think he’s the greatest pony artist ever. Fastest maybe…
