Still I’m pretty sure she was referring to Flash from Equestria Girls than from the main universe.
it’s not up to that. It’s a cameo like sunset shimmer with him.
Twilight probably helped Flash with a friendship problem offscreen sometime during the time skip. It could be something we’ll see in the post-series finale comic books.
He became irrelevant.
