Spike did live but the thing is they were the first friends twilight made a strong bond with and were there for her and seeing them grow old and die would hurt at the least and sure she’d still have cadance and flurry heart (her sister-in-law and niece) and spike (her adopted brother) but celestia and luna went to go back to fuck knows where and the only other person aside from spike who can relate heavily to the loss of the mane 6 (minus twi) is discord as he’s basically a god and therefore immortal

Why would you take Twilight changing to match the shape of the elder immortal princesses as evidence that she is aging, rather than evidence that she has ceased to age?

i don’t know what i could say…

I like how some act like Twilight stops making friends even if the other mane six die first. Plus she still has Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Flurry Heart assuming all alicorns share similar longevity. Spike might still be around as dragons tend to live long too.
 
I am assuming here since Twilight shares Celestia’s build here or close to it it is likely she will have similar longevity assuming nothing bad happens. Maybe it will be forever, maybe it won’t. The show was never going to reach the point of having Twilight outlive her friends, but I am inclined to think the show set things so Twilight can have a long and successful reign as far as the ending goes. However things are left open for interpretation given how vague the concepts of alicorns are though.

The fact that Twilight reached the same size of Celestia in these years clearly demonstrates that if she ages, if she was immortal, she would still be the same alicorn of the last six seasons, it is assumed that part of the immortality is that your body appears to age but it would take many years in changing a little.

Twilight isn’t immortal, she just has a long lifespan.

Even so, she will definately outlive her friends and will have to cope with it at least for some time. She didn’t look like she aged that much

We still don’t have any proof that Twilight is immortal. She’s probably aging internally and will die like her friends at some point.
