Evening Star: A fairly serious soldier stallion who joined the royal guard and shot up the ranks at a young age, inspired by his uncle Shining Armor and father, he dedicated his life to protecting the heirs to Celestia and Luna as well as his little sister, mother and aunt. He seems to be all work and no play, but when he gets a few days off, his childlike side comes out. He is very passionate about everything he does and is willing to give anything to protect his friends and family. He was never one for magic like his mother, he learned mostly combat spells from the royal guard growing up, the only thing that he really picked up from his mother’s magic lessons that he got up until age 16 when he went off to training to be a guard, was protection spells and the teleportation spell that she is able to do, He is close to his father, him and his mother have their differences but they care about one another of course. But he isn’t as close to her really. His special talent mainly is based around his ability to lead his team out of danger no matter what and his ability to find his way using magic when no one else can.

Honeycrisp: Very hometown and family oriented kind of guy, he basically adopts all his friends in as family, all as younger siblings in his eyes even if they happen to be a bit older. He is only just a bit younger than Evening Star but takes the size from his uncle Big Mac so everypony thinks he is the oldest. And despite having wings, he has the bone structure of an earth pony, that being the dominant species in the Apple family after all, therefore making him too heavy to fly. But he uses his wings to make larger jumps than the rest of his family is able to do and he is able to leap a bit higher with his wings but he cannot fly. But that doesn’t hold this bull-headed country boy back. He is very set in his ways and once a decision is made, he will not change his mind. He’s a lot like his mother in that way. He loves to go out and spend time with friends, even going so far as dragging Evening along. Also being quite brave, not being afraid to charge straight at Timberwolves during Zap Apple season and scare them off or getting into fights for his ‘family’ be it blood or not. But he is actually just a gentle giant. His talent kind of centers around his love of helping build things, barns, buildings in town, stages, treehouses, you name it, he’ll build it and is quite skilled at it.

Neapolitan Swirl : Neo is a happy go lucky guy is always smiles and laughs, always tries to make others around him smile as well and he is successful about 90% of the time, he can even get Star to relax and laugh and that is no easy feat. Guy is as emotionless as his aunt Maud in his opinion. His special talent is planning the most epic surprise parties that any one had ever seen. Like his mother, he somehow defies all laws of logic and can do whatever he wants whenever with the help of magic in which he usually only uses when planning parties but he is guilty of rainbow-fying his family when bored or just messing with everyone, seeing as he his the only unicorn in a family of Pegisai and Earth Ponies. He and his father love to go around and play music and his mother and him bake quite often but he just loves crafting party favors more than anything, he is the link most of the time for his parents parties, working them both in most of the time and letting them be a part of things. Neo and his mother have a friendly rivalry however, with who can be the better baker and 9 times out of 10 cake batter gets everywhere, even in the ceiling where nopony has any idea how it gets up there. Though he does get buried with all of the parties that he and his family throws and will get stressed and blow things out of proportion, getting fidgety and freaks out occasionally, leading his mass of siblings to swarm him and calm him down, love him and get everything great again

Ambrosia Apple: Sweet and gentle most of the time, she gets a lot of her temperament from her mother but the laid back personality of her father is there as well as being quite sassy to her friends in a playful way most of the time. Though she has a fairly dangerous attitude when some threatens her family or just plain ticks her off (Coughstormfrontcough), extremely family oriented but she is quite easy to calm down back to the sweetie she is. Opposite of her cousin, she inherited the light bones of a pegasus and therefore she is a bit more fragile than him, but she is just as stubborn. She is often found out bucking apples for baking or running and herding sheep and whatnot, she is always on the move and loves high places, loves the views that it gives and wishes that she could be a pegasus but has never spoken up about that. Like her mother, she has a major love for smaller animals and takes care of as many things that she can, but her true calling is to apples like to be expected from her fathers side of the family. She is an extremely hard worker and most of the time pushes herself until she passes out, scaring the feathers off her mother but her father is used to it and just brings her right back home and makes sure that she is back up to speed before letting her out again. She is quite the free spirit.

Amethyst Glimmer: Much to be expected from the daughter or Rarity, she is quite prim and proper as well as hard headed, she loves the world of design however, she has quite the temper and a stubborn streak for days, blamed on the dragon genetics. She is quite territorial of her boutique/jewelry shop that she opened up as an extension of her mothers own shop where she works with jewels that she finds on her own. Her talent mainly centers around jewels that she finds, much like her mother but, instead of tracking them with magic(which she is able to do but her magic isn’t too strong) she more than often sniffs them out, being half dragon and all. She never really developed the taste to eat gems however, much to the surprise of her father. But the gems that she finds, she often uses her own dragon fire to refine and make them much more beautiful than most ponies can get with simply cutting and polishing. They work together quite often on dresses but she does not stay inside all day and slave over her work. One might think that she would be a sort of punk or rebel to her parents, she never went through that stage. Being the intelligent and rather mature dragon-mare she is, she developed a great respect for her parents at a early age. She and Spike rough-house a lot while she and Rarity do a lot of girly things. Amethyst doesn’t care for it so much but she just goes with the flow.

Stormfront: Generally hard headed and quick tempered, and quite the prankster this whirlwind of a pegasus is constantly looking for competition and something to get into. He even rivals his mother in terms of ego and energy. He is quite the talented flyer as well though he doesn’t quite have the agility that his mother would hope, he is very fast, but he isn’t a trick flyer, but that doesn’t stop him from trying which does lead him to get hurt quite often and sometimes even sent into the hospital with a sprained wing or something. It usually scares his dad, who is the more worrisome of his parents, but it amuses Rainbow because it reminds her of herself in a way when she was younger.
When he was young, still a colt, his parents were afraid he would be a land-grounded pegasus like Scootaloo because it took him a long time to learn how to fly. It was mainly because of said sister’s determination that he was able to get into the air and finally fly, because they trained together every day, and even if Scootaloo was never able to truly fly, she was able to teach Stormy to and he is eternally thankful for that. He thanks her with every award he’s ever gotten for flying, and his parents of course, but Scoots always comes first to him.
