Most countries surrendered within mere weeks.
The goverment surrendered after an hour and a half, the soldiers on the border and the navy fought for another 6 hours after being told to stand down
Considering Denmark’s size, their invader was Nazi Germany (the German army outnumbered the Danish population, and Denmark is too flat to have any defincible positions) and what the Germans did to Warshava less than a year before, noone blames them for surrendering.
Also the short amount of fighting that did happen, ended up giving the German quite a blow to their ego.
